Software controllable signal conditioning

The example msp430dayII_vr.c shows how to implement a “voice recorder” with the

MSP430FG439 Retro watch.

•When the push button on P2.1 is pressed a recording is made. The OP0 is used to interface to

an external microphone. The output of OP0 is sampled by the ADC12 and the DMA transfers the

voice samples to Flash.

•When the push button on P2.2 is pressed the playback mode is selected. The DMA0 is used to

playback the recorded data using the DAC12. An external amplifier and speaker will be required.

•The demonstration is just for fun, with no attempt at voice compression so only a few second of

speech can be recorded.
